South West Skills Awards 2010

The Skills Funding Agency is committed to developing a skilled and highly-trained workforce across all industries. By acknowledging the diverse learners and training opportunities in the region, we hope to encourage more learners and organisations to take part in learning initiatives that not only support individual development but contribute to stronger economic and workforce prosperity.

These awards recognise the achievements of individuals at every stage of life and career. There is also a wide variety of categories to acknowledge the contributions of organisations both big and small.

In each of the individual award categories, the judges will be looking for evidence of a person’s commitment to learning, their tenacity in overcoming barriers and their ability to inspire those around them.
